上课铃响以后，英语老师大步跨上讲台，开门见山地说：“同学们，这节课我们来做一个游戏，好不好？”“好！”大家听了十分高兴，几乎异口同声地喊道。然后，同学们就七嘴八舌地问：“玩什么？怎么玩？”老师制止了大家的“杂音”，爽快地回答：“我们来玩连句游戏吧。规则是：第一组写时间，第二组写地点，第三组写人物，第四组写事件。然后，由我来抽签，把抽到的单词连成句子就行了。”
游戏开始了。组长给每个同学发了一张小纸片，大家各自在纸上写上了字。我是第四组的，就写了一个单词“swim”（游泳），交给了组长。组长收齐大家写的纸片后，揉成了一个个小纸团，马上交给了老师。
随后，老师把四个组交上来的小纸团分成了四堆，并从每个纸堆里各抽出了一个，打开一看，时间写的是早上5时30分，地点是在天堂，人物是刘中华，事件是游泳。最后连成的句子是：“早上5时30分，刘中华在天堂里游泳。”大家听了，立刻哈哈大笑起来，有个别同学笑得一屁股坐在了地上。一会儿，老师又抽了4个小纸团，打开看后说：“连成的句子是：中午12时30分，田雨在锅里散步。”这次，可把我们笑得直不起腰来。就这样，我们连了一个又一个句子，同学们也笑了一整堂课。
这节英语课多有趣呀！我们不仅学到了知识，而且还收获了快乐。这样有趣的英语课，我们是越上越想上。

The Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum, is a symbol of Chinese imperial power and majesty. The Great Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is another iconic destination in Beijing. Stretching over 13,000 miles, it is the longest wall in the world. The Temple of Heaven, a stunning example of Ming and Qing architecture, is a Taoist temple that served as a site for imperial sacrifices and worship. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, with its triple-eaved blue roof and marble balustrades, is particularly impressive.
Apart from the sightseeing, there were also numerous cultural events and festivities to participate in. We attended a traditional Chinese dance performance, watched a fireworks show, and tried a variety of local foods.
