一.了解报考院校专业往年的英语口试形式

各院校各专业的复试口试形式各不相同，一定要对症下药。可以通过询问以前考过的师兄、师姐们来了解复试口试的形式，可能的话，了解一下口试中常出现的问题。

总的来说，复试口试有这样几种类型：自我介绍;读某篇英文文章，然后进行翻译或回答相关问题;抽到某个话题进行演讲、阐述;两三人就同一个话题进行讨论、辩论(多人一起复试的情况);自由问答(可能是专业或与专业相关的时事热点问题，也可能只是了解个人情况)。

二.了解导师/考官

首先必须了解导师在该专业的研究方向，可能的话，看看他们写的书，因为在专业问题上，导师一般都会往自己研究方向上靠拢;其次，了解导师在口试中常问的一些问题及习惯(这个又得求助于师兄师姐们了);最后，可以给导师打电话，让他/她知道你是谁，有你这么一个考生参加复试。

2、自我介绍篇(重点)。基本上每个院校每个专业的口试中都会涉及这一方面。考官其实是要借此了解你的口头表达能力以及你的报名表之外的一些信息。自我介绍时间以2-3分钟为宜。思路要清楚，要突出重点，口语尽量流利(不要太流利了，有背诵之嫌)。

1)考官要求你作自我介绍时，不要用…let me introduce myself briefly / please allow me to introduce myself to you等句子，重复、啰嗦。开头可以只用一句话引入：Dear professors, I feel so glad to meet all of you here.然后就可以进入主题，介绍姓名、年龄等等。

2)自我介绍的主体内容

① 姓名。介绍自己姓名时，发音一定要准(南方考生要多加注意)。

② 年龄。年龄可以跟在姓名后带过(I am XXX, 25 years old)。

③ 原来的院校、专业。注意：一定要把原来学校的英文名称、专业的英文名称弄清楚(尤其是跨校、跨专业的学生)。

所属的公司、职位。注意：在职考生则应将自己公司、自己职位/职称的英文名称弄明白。

④ 性格、能力。可以着重强调你的个性对你报考的专业有何积极的作用。如果报考的是学术性的专业，可以说自己细心(carefully，detail-oriented)、条理分明(logical)、踏实(steady)等;如果是研究性、应用性更强一点的专业，可以说自己负责(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。

其他的一些表示性格、能力的形容词有：active, aggressive(有进取心的), adaptable, amicable(友好的), analytical(善于分析的), cooperative, creative, disciplined, dutiful, energetic, faithful, gentle, independent(有主见的), innovative, motivated, modest, objective, precise, punctual, precise(一丝不苟的), temperate等等。

其次，我想谈一下我四年的大学生活，让我学到了很多，很多的实践让我从从各个方面提高了自己，不但让我学会了如何思考，学习的方法，还让我看到了实践的重要性，作为一名学生，我深知学习机会的不易，我学习很努力，其中3年拿了学校的奖学金，我还积极地参加各种活动和设计大赛，曾在河南理工大学首届和第二届青少年科技文化节中分别荣获“摄影大赛优秀奖”和“节徽设计大赛二等奖”。在2007年中的“张江杯”设计大赛中工业设计类中设计的笔记本电脑荣获优秀奖。在大学中我也遇到了好的老师和朋友，从他们身上我学到了很多东西，这对我能力的提高和成长起了很大的作用。

再次，我来介绍一下我的毕业之后的工作情况，我大致工作了两年的时间，第一年是在福建迪特工业设计公司，担任工业设计师，主要从事产品设计工作，曾在设计总监的带领下为参加多个设计项目-泉州佳乐集团开发的可视门铃设计和辉煌水暖08年的新产品开发设计.其中为辉煌水暖开发命名为龙的水龙头已投入生产并获得了好评.第二年是在福建文创太阳能有限公司工作，担任设计师，主要的工作为太阳能灯具和音响的产品设计,公司画册的设计;为公司的设计的多款太阳能灯具已投入生产,并受到了客户的好评,在工业设计小组共同努力下设计的太阳能音响已进入了产品的测试阶段, 在公司的期间曾多次到车间深入了解材料工艺模具加工和产品生产过程, 多次到广交会顺德工业设计博览会了解市场的产品信息。

最后，我想谈一下，我考研的原因和研究的方向，我喜欢做设计，当看着自己的创意和产品得到别人认可的时候是一件无比兴奋的事情;还有就是两年的工作经验让我认识到我专业知

识的局限，感觉在设计方面还有很多东西要学，自己的知识和能力还远远不够，特别是在经济快速发展的今天，更需要通过系统的复习来提高自己的能力，来最大化地实现自我价值，想通过3年的学习来对工业设计有个更加深入的了解，我很喜欢学校的感觉和体现出来的学习氛围，到处充满着青春活力，有很多的机会让你去实践和尝试，让人可以深入思考和进行学术的研究。如果我有机会在这所学校学习，我计划把自己的研究方向定为工业设计，因为我发现设计在社会的发展中发挥了越来越重要的作用，特别在国家由制造业大国转变为创新型国家的时候更是如此，虽然现在中国整个社会对设计的认可还不是很高，特别是在一些中小型企业中，但是纵观一些发达国家的发展过程，不难发现，工业设计将会在社会发展起到不可替代的作用。
